RPA Developer

Position Summary
RPA Developers build and sustain robotic process automation bots that automate manual, repetitive workflows across Government operations. These individuals work under the guidance of the RPA Lead Developer to implement workflow automations for reporting, data entry, and system integrations following secure development practices.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and sustain RPA bots using UiPath and/or Microsoft Power Automate
• Implement workflow automations for reporting, data entry, and system integrations
• Build automation solutions that integrate with databases, APIs, and enterprise applications
• Follow secure SDLC practices including documentation, peer review, and testing
• Support development of bots enhanced with OCR and NLP capabilities
• Create and maintain bot runbooks and operational documentation
• Perform unit testing and support UAT activities
• Monitor bot performance and troubleshoot issues in production
• Implement error handling, logging, and exception management
• Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards
• Update automations as business processes change

Required Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
• Experience: 4+ years building and sustaining RPA bots in enterprise environments
• Certifications:
- UiPath Developer certification and/or
- Microsoft Power Automate certification
• Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in UiPath Studio and/or Power Automate
- Knowledge of programming/scripting languages (VB.NET, Python, JavaScript)
- Experience with SQL databases and API integrations
- Understanding of OCR technologies
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git)

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting RPA in federal environments
• Knowledge of federal security and compliance requirements
• Experience with cognitive automation capabilities
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
